Turn Your Ipod Into A Phone With BluEye

The BluEye, which won “Best of Show” at MacWorld in London is shipping now. Almost voiding the need for the iPhone, BluEye from Gear4 allows your iPod to act like a phone.

The BluEye connects all Bluetooth 2.0 enabled mobile phones to the iPod through the dock connector. One can then make and receive calls through their iPod, even Caller Number ID is displayed on the iPod screen. The last nine numbers used redial from the iPod and voice dial is activated when paired with voice dial Blue Tooth phones. Music can be paused and resumed for incoming calls and taken through the same headphones you are already wearing. Headphones are the choice of the consumer. 15 presets and auto scan FM Radio are also part of the BluEye’s repertoire.

The BlueEye is compatible with 4G Photo, 5G Video, mini and 1G/2G Nano, plus all Bluetooth 2.0 enabled mobile phones. Performing in “Shuffle Style” one can simply clip the BluEye to their clothing.

The BluEye comes in white and black and retails at $49.99.
