We’re as wicked excited as you are for the new iPhone 4 to come out! Our cases will be available in retail stores, such as AT&T and Best Buy tomorrow, June 23rd, for the iPhone 4 launch. They will be available on our Web site by mid-July. We have some incredible, exciting new designs for the new iPhone 4! Just you wait children – you won’t be disappointed!




I picked up one of the iPhone 4 Luxe cases (Luxe Lean, I think?) at Best Buy today, and you’re right, I’m not disappointed! Now if only it was available in Grape to match my Kindle Luxe case!
Oh, I’m so glad you like it! The Luxe case in Grape is exclusively available at AT&T stores, so if you’d like one to match your Kindle case, I’d check them out.
Any chance Bestbuy in Logan will have anymore of the Luxe Lean Iron, anytime soon?
It’s actually up to Best Buy when they order more of our products. You’d have to check with them.
I purchased your Lime colored case at a BestBuy for my iPhone 4 and wish there were other colors available. When will I be able to buy online as I live in a remote area? I love your case design, especially the bottom cutout, as I can use your case with all my aftermarket products, something I can’t do using the Apple Bumper and other cases on the market. Good Job.

iFrogz cases have always rocked.. but c’mon!!
I picked up a Luxe case from Best Buy, but the fit is so tight, it tore the edges of my InvisibleShield away from the screen and bubbled it significantly. Luxe case and InvisibleShield do NOT play nice.
While very satisfied with my ifrogz Luxe Original case in regard to appearance, bulk and feel (love the soft-touch finish), there is a problem with the iPhone 4 LED flash. My case top is purple (grape) and the combination of the color and reflective finish on the edge of the camera lens/LED flash opening produces a purple flare on images illuminated by the flash. Likely a larger opening for the lens and LED along with a non-reflective, black treatment around the edge would solve the flash issue. Hopefully you will find a solution. Until then, it’s either take the iPhone 4 out of the ifrogz case when using flash or get a different case.
Don’t worry, we will be selling it mid-July. We have orders to fulfill with AT&T and Best Buy. As soon we keep our promises to them, we will have all of our products available on our Web site.
The case is actually not the problem, it’s the screen protectors. Like everyone else, we didn’t get to try our fit of screen protectors until the day the iPhone 4 came out. New screen protectors that fit will be available very soon. We have actually made our flash hole larger! Please contact our customer service department to receive a replacement case: 1-877-443-7641.
I just bought a black Luxe original case for my iPone 4 (I had one on my 3GS and loved it), but may have to return it because none of my headphones will connect with the case on the phone. It seems the hole for the headphone jack is not big enough, so none of the headphones will click all the way into place. All of them work with the case removed.

The edges of the case are angled and push the screen protectors up at the very top. I wish the case didnt leave such a big cutout for the volume buttons as it is another area were dust can get behind the phone.
Yes, we are currently working on a new screen protector. Apple doesn’t give us specs or an opportunity for a pre-test, so we manufactured screen protectors on the information we had. I just came on to check out the scoop in relation to some of the above issues with the my lovely new luxe case for my wonderful new iPhone 4. I am SO PLEASED to learn that replacement cases will be made available as well as shields that fit! I so wanted to keep my luxe. I just purchased a Luxe case last night at Best Buy, and also noticed the flash problem. Good to know we can call to get a replacement! Yay!
However, I did want to point out that the link printed on the inside packaging for the song download is incorrect. It says “frogz.com/downloads” and that takes you to a spammy page! It’s missing the i in front of frogz. Just wanted to alert you guys! Thanks!

We’re still fulfilling orders for AT&T and Best Buy, so we’re projecting mid to late July. They will be available on our Web site. Unfortunately, we don’t as yet have any retail contracts in the UK…as yet!
We wanted a nice, tight fit, but it can be difficult to get it off. I usually start at the upper left-hand corner and work the case off around the volume buttons. After that, it’s quite easy to get the rest of it off. And yes, we will have a dark blue and a marine in the Luxe Lean later this month!
I ordered the Luxe Original case based on liking the lean but needing some more protection. I definitely can say there is very little wiggle room with a screen protector (I was able to get it on without bubbling the protector eventually. I bought a black case so haven’t noticed any problem with the flash. My major problem is the thickness of the bottom of the case, it is slightly to bulky to make a proper connection into my car dock. If I remove the bottom half it works of course, but I’d really rather not be doing this every time I need to put the phone into the dock since taking it off and putting it on puts me in a situation of bubbling the screen protector up again. Any recommendations?

I spoke with our customer service department, and as far as the screen protectors go, you can contact them and have them send you a replacement protector that will fit your phone better when available – please call them at 1-877-443-7641 for that. As far as the dock goes, the Luxe Original case is compatible with most docks, but unfortunately we can’t test them all, so there obviously are some out there that aren’t going to work perfectly. Hopefully the new screen protector will at least solve the bubbling up problem. Is the iPhone4 Luxe Lean case available in Black?
So glad I stumbled onto this thread. I bought a beautiful blue Luxe original immediately after my iP4 purchase. Then– discovered my headphones plug and cassette adapter plug did not fit. And- discovered the screen shield I’d purchased was not compatible with Luxe’s tight fit. And- I want compatibility with my dock. This thread addresses all these questions AND provides a phone number- thank you!

Mid July, where’s our new case selection????????
I purchased a blue luxe original to hold me off until more colors were available! However like many others, when i take a picture using the flash my image comes out with a blue tint. Will this issue as well as the hole for the headphone jack be addressed?
As you may have noticed from the chatter on this blog, we have had a few issues with our cases. We are still manufacturing like mad to fulfill Best Buy and AT&T orders, but have also had to take some of our mold machines out of production, in order to remold and fix these minor problems. This has put us out of manufacturing at least a fourth of our cases per day. So although we may be a little late in delivering on our goal date, please know that it is because we’re working to give you the absolute BEST fitting cases on the market!

I Just bought a pack of Anti-Glare Screen Protectors at Best Buy for my brand-new iPhone 4…
I did not spot ANY installation instructions on the package (missed them if they were there), so using the asymmetric hole pattern for the earpiece I figured out the alignment, but did not experience any ‘cling factor’ or stickiness, so the protector slides up and down and even off).
What did I miss?
I live in NC so naturally Duct tape is an option but not from a aesthetics or utility perspective. What should I try next? Also, the little stickers on the protectors have an aggressive adhesive that doesn’t come off all that easily… is there a trick for that too?

When are your new screen protectors coming out to fit the Luxe case? Do you have an exact date, and where can I buy them?
We don’t have a date yet – we will announce it when they are available. You will be able to purchase them at Best Buy, AT&T, many other Apple carrier stores, and on our Web site.
I purchased an iron luxe lean case today and the flash problem is so evident that I’m considering returning mine. I called the toll free number that Rebecca provided but the rep told me that I’d have to wait a few weeks for the replacement program to be available on the website and that doesn’t include shipping time. So is it safe to say we’re looking at 1 to 2 months before I can get a replacement? I appreciate that ifrogz has acknowledged this problem but why don’t they just recall the product that’s out in the market already until the problem is resolved. I’m also surprised that people are still very satisfied with this case. Am I the only one that appreciates the flash feature on my IP4?
It seems like a case-by-case basis. Not everyone is having this issue. In fact, we’ve had very few people call in. We’ve also done some extensive testing on it, and it depends on the lighting or the way you hold your phone. In some cases, particularly in this YouTube video, it actually looks better. So no recall for us, but it shouldn’t be two months before you get your new case, unless we run into some major problems developing our case.
I don’t think the average person realizes that the case is interfering with the flash. I will agree the Luxe Lean is great case minus the flash problem. I also respect that you don’t moderate the negative posts on your website. However, I would very much appreciate having a case on my phone that doesn’t require special lighting conditions or holding techniques to take decent pictures. Thank you for your response and I will patiently wait for your replacement program.
I saw a test piece today – it seemed to resolve the problem very well! But it was only a test piece. Hopefully, they’ll be perfected and available soon!
Are you going to have any swerve cases in different colors for iPhone

I bought the iFrogz Antiglare Screen Protector for iPhone 4 (3-Pack)with the iFrogz Luxe case. It does not fit with the case and I noticed that it takes away the retina display the phone. Is there a way I can get my money back or exchange for both items?

I have a Luxe case for my iPhone 4 & love it; what I’m looking for now is an armband I can slide my cased iPhone into when I go to the gym. I go 5-6 times a week & don’t want to have to remove it from the iFrogz case. Thank you for any suggestions you might have.
I, personally, think this is the best out right now, because it fits with most cases: . (But that’s just until we make one of our own!)
Looks like the 2nd Generation luxe lean case with the larger cutout for the camera/flash have made it’s way to Best Buy. Purchased two for myself today and returned the old one I had on my phone. Beats waiting for the replacement program. Still loving the cases but I notice that they do tend to scratch somewhat easily. I doubt this would ever happen but if ifrogz could make a stainless steel slim case for the IP4 similar to the luxe lean it would be pretty cool.
Do we have a target date of when iPhone 4 cases with the new flash cutouts are going to be available? I have both a Luxe and Luxe Lean and they both have the flash washout effect. I love the cases otherwise! Also, what other colors do you plan on releasing? Thanks!
Some of the cases are in Best Buy, but we don’t have them at our warehouse for individual customers quite yet. We’ll announce it here and on our Facebook and Twitter when they’re available. And our colors we won’t be announcing until then. I know – the suspense is killing us all!
Just went to best buy and picked up the Luxe case with mirror screen protectors. The protectors don’t work with the case! I took on and off measuring and cutting with xacto knife to make it fit. But now it has a bunch of bubbles, and I ruined one of the 3 in the process of trying.
Where can I get the BLACK Luxe Lean WITH the newer bigger hole for camera and flash? And do the screen protectors fit on the lean?
Come on, mass stock on pink and green at Best Buy? Ill pay good money for black with right sized screen protector. Help me out please! Thanks

I contacted your customer service and they were very helpful and easy to work with. Most companies would never have a blog like this and would shy away from losing any dollars on taking care of customers complications to save money. But in the long run, taking the time to listen to your customers and implement changes, your company will be much more successful in the long run. As fundamental as it sounds, almost no companies out there ever reply back to inquiries or concerns, and don’t take time for input.

Greetings, I bought my green case for my new Iphone 4G at Best Buy in Phoenix on Camelback Road and the “cutout hole” around the flash is to small. When I take pics at night with the flash all of my pics have green halos in them. Other then that I absolutely love the case. Please advise.

We can’t leak our secrets of new colors and cases, and I’m sorry we don’t have a more specific date!
