Find Your Way With TrailRunner 1.3

when your running in the mountains, not only do you want some music to boost your heart rate and make your arms pump faster to the beat as you feel the thrill of the “runners high”, but you also want to know where the heck you’re going!

TrailRunner does just that - it works in step with the iPod and nike+ipod to tell you just what trail you should go on to get the workout desired. For instance - should you wish to run three miles through your mountainside backcountry, you can put in the area you wish to run, distance, time and the lovely computer thing will map out the best route for you, as well as set timed checkpoints to check your pace. Bikers can import GPS recordings and watch elevation profile and hikers can plan tours and collect documentations of hikes.

TrailRunner also has such applications as background maps, elevation data, Nanomaps or iPod-notes (exported maps and directions), a diary to log workout data, WebLog to exchange routes, preferred languages (should you speak Chinese or perhaps Swedish - or others), Backup Quickpick, goals noted in event calender, GoogleEarth - and more.

The new TrailRunner 1.3 version has multiple diaries for Triathletes and Groups and well as bugfixes and stability improvements. It also can now directly read the track database of Garmin Training Center. Synchronize your device with Training Center and then press the Import button in TrailRunner to access all workouts ever stored in the Training Center history. TrailRunner is free to download.
