Perfect pitch recognition is now attainable without being at the concert hall with your music teacher, now if trying to learn pitch recognition you simply need to download iTheory on your iPod and you can practice from anywhere you are.
iTheory will allows users to practice interval recognition, scale recognition, chord recognition, and perfect pitch. The program has a network of over 600 interactive text notes with links to over 200 audio clips.
The program also features interactive quizzes for all recognition practices for the students. In the perfect pitch section the students “can test their recognition of a randomly selected pitch in an attempt to develop perfect, or absolute, pitch – the ability to hear and identify a note without a reference note.”
