It can be a wonderful thing, especially when heading out on summer vacations with the family to have an iPod filled with TV shows and videos, however watching them on the itty bitty screen can be tiresome so the new i1055 from iLuv is a great accessory to have on these long drives.
The iLuv i1055 jumps the two and half inch 30GB iPod screen to a seven inch screen and charges the iPod while it plays. The i1055 also has a built in DVD player, so when traveling you can also pack along any a few extras and films to pop in and play as well as being able to play CDs. It also includes such playback options as zoom and fast speed.
The player has a fold out stand so if you’re sitting in the park you can watch your movie without having to hold it all the time. It is powered by an internal rechargeable battery or can be plugged in to a wall with the included AC adapter.
The i1055 comes with a remote, headphones, and carrying case. It comes in both black and white and retails for $199.95.
