Apple Opens Store In Meat Packing District

Opening in the heart of Manhattan’s Meat Packing District, will be Apple’s third Manhattan store.
The store is set to be located at 401 14th St., where Western Beef used to sit.
“Each store as they’ve opened in New York has its own identity relative to the neighborhood it’s in,” said Michael Gartenberg, who follows Apple for Jupiter Research. “I expect this store to continue in that tradition.”
Apple currently has stores in over 180 locations worldwide that have become icons to tourists, shoppers and spectators alike. One wonders how many people will be sleeping outside these stores, everywhere, in order to be one of the “first” to have the world famous iPhone.
