The Day The iPhone Launches!

The word on the street is that the iPhone may launch directly mid June - June 15th to be exact.
And where does the word come from - Well it’s supposition taken from an e-mail that AT&T sent out to all employees writing, “To ensure proper staffing during the product launch period, Sales personnel planning to take approved time off are encouraged to schedule their vacations before June 15 or after July 15 to participate in the iPhone launch.”
“No additional vacation requests will be approved during the launch period,” AT&T wrote. “I want to thank you for your understanding as this is likely to be the biggest selling period we have seen in years.”
Thus you have exactly 40 more days to save up your $500 bucks and 37 or less days to find that prime sleeping bag you’ll need for staking your claim in the parking lot outside the nearest Apple store. (best to bring a grill and extra hot dogs - with a little luck you could earn the money simply feeding all the other hungry asphalt campers!)
The 15th is on a Friday so it would seem to be the perfect launch date and also a bit strange for a corporation to start locking down their employees beginning on the weekend if that wasn’t the date.
