New Rock & Soul, Rhythm & Roll Band On Ifrogz!

Ifrogz has an all new artist for their exclusive Featured Artist program in which an up and coming band is chosen, featured and has an ifrogz custom case designed just for them.
The new band jams out some good old fashioned music that is all “Rock and Soul, Rhythm and Roll.”
Mike Kittredge as lead singer and guitarist, Greg Hyder as the bassist and back-up singer, and Steve Harutunian as the drummer.
The band is called Castine. The three 21-year-old band members are all from Worcester, MA where they first begin playing about two years ago. They were inspired by numerous bands such as Billy Joel, the Pixies, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, the Beatles, Nirvana and Snow. They have recorded an album called Castine and play on tour keeping folks dancing from Massachusets to New York City.
Kettridge described their music in an interview with Wormtown saying, ” Rock and Soul, Rhythm and Roll. We rattle with booty shakin’ rhythm, toss in some baby makin’ melodies, and mix it all together with a heapin’ helping of distortion. Bake at 100 degrees in a tiny practice space for five hours per week, and you got some Castine.
