Target, Rocks & An iPod

What do they all have in common - Well the story goes like this.
A young girl was happily opening her presents for her 14th birthday party in Fort Worth, Texas. When she got to the big present, the one she had so faithfully been waiting for, she opened it up with excited eyes and trembling hands. Only to find out that while the box read iPod, what it really contained inside the shrink wrap was - rocks.
Needless to say neither her nor her mother, Melanie Ritter, was too happy with the discovery and promptly took it back to Target where Ms. Ritter had purchased the iPod box of rocks. But alas, Target did not have a replacement for the $350 iPod box of rocks, as they were all out of stock.
Target refused to take exception to store policy and give Ms. Ritter her money back offering only store credit for her rock purchase. After arguing they finally found another Target store that had their iPod. They wanted it opened first but were not allowed to do so until they purchased it. So they bought it and opened it in front of the store employees. Again it was a box of rocks. Dismayed they again asked for their money back but were again told they had made the purchase and could only get store credit. They poor girl had to settle for miscellaneous junk instead of her beloved iPod. Leaving a still irate mother and an iPodless child.
…And some fool back in packaging who just made a mint off of who knows how many iPods that he slipped out of packaging and replaced with a handfull of rocks, is gleefully laughing like the Grinch that stole Christmas.
