They’re Back! Bricked iPhones Rise From The Dead.

IphoneSimsFree was one on the first companies to sell an unlocking program for the iPhone. Then came update 1.1.1. that bricked any unlocked iPhones, made all third party apps obsolete, and generally pretty well ticked off iPhone hackers everywhere.
Since then they have been fighting feverishly to overcome 1.1.1 and iPhoneSimsFree say they have beaten the update program and have written an app that will breathe life back into the bricked iPhones.
“SimFree v1.6 release is now capable of completely restoring/repairing software unlocked ‘bricked’ iPhone[s],” says the iPhoneSimsFree website.
They SimFree hackers give the credit to their breakthrough to work that the iPhone/iTouch Dev team had already done to restore third party apps to the iPhone.
Again this is a temporary solution as any new iPhone updates may brick the phones once more.
