The Power To Charge iPhone/iPod Is In Your Hands

In today’s world life is often about how much power you hold and now, you can literally carry power with you everywhere you go. It may not be enough to get the VP job at work, but it will be enough to keep your iPod powered so you can listen to “Hang on for one More Day” when you don’t.
The power comes through solar powered hand bags, perfect for carrying all your business items, including your iPhone and iPod. They come equipped with a lithium ion battery which is charged through the bags solar panels that are conveniently placed on one side. A USB cable with interchangeable tips is included for connecting to the battery and then to your iPod, iPhone and the like.
All you have to do is place the bag on a windowsill, on the dash in the car, a park bench, a sandy beach… - anywhere there is sun (Good for all but people who live in Seattle) and your phone will always be in good use. No more stranded with no cell power and the evil man chasing you. (Think Halloween movies.)
The bags were invented by Jane Palmer and Marianne Fairbanks. The idea started with their belief that people have power. Power to effect change. Power to speak their minds. Power to use technology in concert with the environment. Thus they created a way for people to literally carry that power with them in a totally “green” way.
The first item Palmer and Fairbanks created was for an art show in Portland. They created a jacket that could power a game boy with solar power. People loved it and thus came their idea for a bag that could be used to charge various technological gadgets.
Since Palmer and Fairbanks believe in helping the environment the bags are completely green, made of leather or hemp with a natural dye. The leather bags are even tanned in the olden day process that requires no chemacial so it won’t pollute the ground or water.
The bags weigh more than your typical bag at 2 and 3 lbs., but to not have to worry about your battery going dead, it seems carrying a little extra weight is a small price to pay.
“Depending on how much you use your cell phone or your iPod this is going to be a boost system or your full charging system,” Palmer said.
The bags retail for $270-$410 and can be found online at www.noonsolar.com and at various retail outlets.
