Bagz: Protection That’s Still a Show Off
11.20.06 - 02:20pm

Ifrogz has a new wonderful way to show off your iPod while still protecting it from harsh environmental conditions. With ifrogz new bagz, hazards such as rain, and accidental falls into mud puddles or piles of snow are no longer a factor. Jaimes Baine of Apple Matters wagers “if you tripped and fell into a pool while wearing your iPod in a bagz, you’d stand a very good chance, maybe in the high 90s, of having a working iPod afterwards, providing you’d meticulously done up all the seals beforehand.” Still it is not reccommended to fall into a pool, even if listening to Air Supply.
The bagz come in two sizes, size-Nano and size-Video. The bagz use three separate Ziploc-style airtight seals to insulate your iPod or nano from water. Each case comes with a white lanyard and a headphone port extender, the latter fused into the case to provide a safe way to listen to the iPod inside. Controls and screens remain accessible while in the bagz. Once sealed, you can listen to your iPod from a place of splash-proof safety, and have no problems whatsoever activating the control wheel through the bagz plastic front, thus still allowing you to adjust your iPod without pulling it out in the rain.
