John Harrington is a famous jewelry creator with a simple philosophy; “I believe jewelery should be an extension of oneself. Some pieces will be for the here and now, perhaps quirky, perhaps mischievous to be mixed and matched as your whims take you. Others will carry over generations with longevity assured by their elegance of line and form.”
He has carried over his jewelry creation to extend to the iPod Shuffle. He dipped the Shuffle in pure gold, etched his signature ‘Renaissance’ motif and festooned five excellent quality diamonds to finish the look.
The John Harrington Shuffle is now available in pink as well and retails for around $600. According to the press release it is “the ultimate fashion statement for the person who has everything”.

Who would think of it - an MP3 player to fight pimples, it sounds rather amusing, like they are using the vibrations of the music to cure the acne?
However, after a little research on the use of negative ions to cure pimples…
In the 1950’s scientists began to discover how important ions were in body functions. Here in America the general public knows little about ions but in Europe they take it very seriously, so much so that ion generators are installed in many businesses, banks, hospitals, passenger cars and even in airliner cockpits. Ions are used to in treatments to help burn victims heal faster, cure repiratory diseases, rid the body of general infections - including pimples - and even to check the spread of cancers.

But seriously folks! Really!
Diamonds around the Shuffle, naturally, after all it is an Apple product.
This shuffle case comes with a mix of gold and diamonds and runs for about 40 gees. Looks like something you might see Paris Hilton wearing.

The new Virgin America Airlines is up and flying with a new take on air travel; cheap flights that actually offer great service and utmost luxury.
In fact not only does it offer, of course, iPod connections but even feels like an iPod. Boing Boing’s Xeni Jargen said that the purple-and-pink mood lighting along with the white seat backs complete with individual TV screens made the interior of the plane “like a big happy iPod”
The new U.S. carrier is creating a new wave of airline travel which is “cool” and “upscale” as along with its mood lighting, which shifts between 12 different colors depending on the time of day, the plane also offer a barrage of other amenities.
Satellite television at every seat on 9″ touch screens embedded into black leather seats whose white backs are encased in an iPod-like glossy plastis is the main focus. Each touch-sensitive screen is paired with a two-sided wired remote in the armrest. On one side of the remote are standard volume, channel, forward and back controls; on the other side is a QWERTY keyboard.

Now you can see your friend thousands of miles away in the same form in which you see the thousands of dancers in the iPod/iTunes ads - in the form of the silhouette
Japanese researches have developed a system called Teleshadow that pipes video showing what people are doing via the net in a way similar to that of web cams, but instead of seeing the person videotaped in full detail Teleshadow turns them into shadow outlines and projects their image onto a decorative lamp.
The researchers developed Teleshadow in the way of the Japanese tradition of Shoji, the paper walls that are often seen dividing rooms in Japan. Similarly Teleshadow adds the same presence but retains the privacy of friends.
The lamp is square and can show up to four different friends, each silhouetted on one of the lamps sides.

PopCap has brought the first game to the iPhone showcasing their famous “Bejeweled” game for free!
The game is one of their most popular games and PopCap is proud to be the first to bring a game to the iPhone. Just go to Popcap’s website with the Safari web browser and you can play the game which has been modified to work with the iPhone.
The game is designed to work on the iPhone in vertical not horizontal mode. You can play it in horizontal mode but switching the landscape shrinks the size of the individual jems and makes it difficult to select them as they become very small.
“Bejeweled” and Zuma were both launched for the iPod last year. If “Bejeweled” goes over well on the iPhone you can probably expect to see “Zuma” soon.

This weekend in San Francisco an iPhoneDevCamp was held. A place where developer’s gathered to unlock the secrets of the iPhone and create iPhone applications.
This DIY - do-it-yourself - event was free and open to anyone who wanted to come, join and contribute. Over 325 attendees did just that.
“It’s about embracing constraints,” said Chris Messina, 26, an entrepreneur in San Francisco and an event organizer. “These constraints aren’t holding us back. They are giving us focus.”
Focus is exactly what they did as they spent the weekend brainstorming in various groups and opening up all sorts of ways to access and improve the iPhone. In the end they came up with dozens of new apps in one weekend with many developers so pumped up they spent all Saturday night coding.
“The spirit was generous,” said Jory Felice, a seniro Web developer at Belkin International Inc. “People get a sense of pride that their solution works for a lot of people.”
