Rich Lefko from MyMac Magazine recently reviewed the iFrogz Vibez speaker system and gave it a MyMac rating of 4 out of 5. Rich described how the Vibez helped him out with a presentation he had to give.
“There I was, in the conference room setting up for a presentation. I needed sound for a clip within my Keynote presentation. They had one of those mounted overhead projectors all wired up with sound. I reached behind the Windows machine and unplugged the audio and video cables and plugged them into my MacBook. The video came up, but no sound. Beads of sweat formed on my brow as I tried in vain to get sound out of that system. The presentation was set to start in less than ten minutes and some early birds had already arrived. Read on to find out what I did.”

iProng is a world leading iPod and iTunes website for iPod news, reviews, commentary, iPod forums, music reviews and more. Each year iProng picks out new distinguishable products at Macworld and picks out their “Best of Show” winners. This year they extensively reviewed over 60 different selections and chose only 15 winners. iFrogz Audiowrapz was one of the few to receive “Best of Show“. iProng had this to say about Audiowrapz:
“The nano slides into an internal hard plastic sled, connecting to the speakers via the nano’s headphone port. We generally prefer that speaker systems connect through the iPod’s docking port, but this product is in a whole different category than your typical $100-300 iPod speaker system. In fact, at $25, the audiowrapz costs less than some competing silicone cases that don’t have speakers built-in. We had a chance to test the iFrogz prior to its debut, and surprisingly enough, it doesn’t chew through the nano’s battery life as one might expect - no small feat for a product that doesn’t have a battery of its own.”
“…It’s the kind of product that audiophiles will quickly dismiss, but the general public will love it to death.”

iLounge has awarded iFrogz with it’s prestigious “Best in Show” award for the new Audiowrapz iPod case at MacWorld 2008.
This is what iLounge had to say about iFrogz Audiowrapz:
“The iPhone’s bottom-mounted speaker is one of our favorite features of the device—incredibly convenient for the times when you forget your earphones. iFrogz’ Audio Wrapz ($25) are rubber cases with three integrated speakers, not requiring any additional battery power, enabling you to protect your third-generation iPod nano and hear its music without earphones. If you want, you can plug earphones into a bottom port and disable the speaker; otherwise, the iPod nano plays on its own. Different versions of the case are available, some more stylish than others; the Tadpole version is made to help the nano be used easily by young children. A great idea at a very reasonable price.”

“We’re exceptionally proud of the design we’ve come up with, but the truth of the matter is that the real designer of each ifrogz case is the customer. Now people can adorn their iPods with images of their pets, schools can create custom Screenz of their mascots and businesses can brand iPod cases with their company logos. By combining our three-part custom cases with the Screen Creator, we put almost every aspect of the design process in our customers’ hands.”
With a simple choice of words ifrogz CEO Scott Huskinson says everything about ifrogz innovative screen decals. The decals, are only bound by the users’ imagination and allow for ifrogz cases, which already came in over 300,000 different combinations to become infinite. You as an individual can now hold an iPod case that is unique - solely belonging to you or your loved ones.

In the world of iPods, camcorders, cellphones and the like, we have devices that create music, film and conversation. A wonderful world - that is until that speck of dust gets between the screen and anything else and the world comes to a screeching halt. Suddenly you have a scratch and all of a sudden your new wonderful gadget is on the way to looking like the display case in the Wal-mart store.
With the launch of their new screen protectors powered by Invisible Shield, ifrogz has taken care of this problem for us. No longer do we have to look out of cameras with scratched lenses or view our video on an iPod that is anything less than perfect. The new screen protectors are made from a film originally designed to protect military helicopter blades from abrasions while flying at hundreds of mph. If it can protect the helicopter blades, then your iPod is certainly safe from the pen in your two-year-old’s hand.
