Electronic Arts has released the Tiger Woods PGA Tour application for the iPod Touch and iPhone, which is now available from the App Store for $10. This really cool video game features Tiger Woods along with other professional golfers like Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, Annika Sorenstam and Natalie Gulbis. The commentary voice is by Kelly Tilghman from the Golf channel and former pro golfer Sam Torrance.
This video game has stellar 3D graphics and awesome camera angles that really get you into the game, which also features more than 100 holes from seven popular PGA courses around the world such as, The K Club, Pebble Beach, TPC Boston, St. Andrews and other courses. You can play as or against Tiger Woods. This is the only way I could beat any professional golfer is on a video game. This game requires iPhone 2.2.1 software update.

Stellar new Zune HD will be launched some time in September 2009 in the U.S., Canada, France, UK and throughout Europe. It will come equipped with a 3.6-inch OLED touchscreen with multi-touch support. Nvidia’s Tegra chip will power this cool device. Also, the Zune HD has an HD radio feature and will also be WiFi compatible and capable of Wireless Sync with Windows.
Microsoft will make the Zune HD with a limited edition dock in different colors and it will also be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. This item has a few built in features that the Apple’s iPod Touch does not.

You would think that this limited edition of the Prince Opus iPod Touch is lined in diamonds for the obscene price of $2,100. This item only has about 950 kits available that includes a book of Prince photographs from Kraken Opus. Of course it has Prince’s symbol on the back with the color purple and is preloaded with 40 minutes of footage along with a live soundtrack from Indigo Nights.

The Nintendo DSi portable gaming device is now available in the U.S. This device is not only a gaming platform, but it also has music, a video player and a two 0.3-megapixel cameras, one on the external and one on the inside when the device is flipped open. The outside camera is capable for capturing a picture and sending it over the Web. You can download Nintendo from the instore or online games on this little gadget. This may be a competitor of the iPod Touch with a starting price of $229 and is available in blue or black.

The iPod sits in a special dock in the middle of the dashboard, where it can be easily reached. Consumers who want more of a standard stereo have an option for a Cascade radio with Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, and Ferrari will still throw in a 16g iTouch. Pricing is currently not available, which means most of us can’t afford this stellar looking car. We can always dream…….

The iGPS 360 module device will give GPS availability to your iTouch or 2g iPhone. This module will plug into the bottom of your iPhone 2g/ iPod Touch, which will need to be jailbroken first in order for this module to operate, because Apple has not given the approval for any device to access the OS through the dock connector.
This device has a back-up battery that will store the GPS information. It will also allow you to charge both the iPod Touch and 2g iPhone along with the GPS module at the same time through a micro USB cable, which comes with the GPS device.

Dynolicious may be the first available automotive performance meter for the iPod Touch and iPhone. This particular app utilizes the iPhone’s built-in accelerometer to measure the performance characteristics of any vehicle this is placed into. This app will record horsepower, quarter-mile, lateral Gs, 0-60 time. The accuracy on this is supposed to be within a tenth of a second and 1.5 mph. This is now available at the iTunes Store for about $12.99

The sudden demand for the iPod iTouch may be due to a promotion when students purchase a new Mac, they receive a free iTouch. There is talk that Apple may need to reposition the iPod Touch by this September now that the iPhone price is lower.
Apple’s iPod sales are better than expected. Data shows that iPod sales climbing by two percent through early June. The overall market grew 12 percent in the same period, which was led by Microsoft’s Zune.
