Rich Lefko from MyMac Magazine recently reviewed the iFrogz Vibez speaker system and gave it a MyMac rating of 4 out of 5. Rich described how the Vibez helped him out with a presentation he had to give.
“There I was, in the conference room setting up for a presentation. I needed sound for a clip within my Keynote presentation. They had one of those mounted overhead projectors all wired up with sound. I reached behind the Windows machine and unplugged the audio and video cables and plugged them into my MacBook. The video came up, but no sound. Beads of sweat formed on my brow as I tried in vain to get sound out of that system. The presentation was set to start in less than ten minutes and some early birds had already arrived. Read on to find out what I did.”

iPod docks now are such a commonality that to be noticed one has to be different. The Phiaton Moderna iPod dock stands out by flashing colors of deep elegant red against jet dark black.
With its ultra-modern look the dock is meant to be seen rather than be tucked away inside an entertainment centers doors. The look according to Phiaton is Euro-style.
It weighs 5.3 pounds, puts out 60 watts of power and comes with a remote control.
The dock is a first in a line of products from the brand new company that made its official debut at CES 2008. Their goal is to provide listeners with a natural soundstage, wearability and eye catching appeal.
Other products the company will be releasing include heaphones and in-ear earphones with hand stiched leather ear cups.
Both the dock and the headphones are expected to be released in early spring. No word yet on pricing.

In a fight against cruelty of animals the animal rights groups are stepping up in arms to battle for the well known Siamese Fighting Fish, sometimes called, “The Jewel of the Orient” due to their wide range of beautiful colors. The fish are being put into a new iPod gimmick speaker called an iPond holding just 650 milliliters of water, 15 times smaller than the 10 liter tank the fish requires to live peaceably.
“The fish in this thing does not look like it has very long to live and it can barely move,” said Animal Liberation Victoria’s Noah Mark. “Even if it does live it’s not [a] life worth living … it’s really just a torture box.”
The speaker is out in Australia and is very popular selling out at multiple stores. In the iPond is a miniature brick-shaped fish tank built into a portal speaker for your iPod. The fish is squeezed into a tiny space with the speaker small enough to fit in your pocket, alive.
