PandaLabs has unveiled a tool used by cyber-criminals that will end up costing you if your computer has one of the 7,500 zombies on a botnet that is infected by Aifone - a bot Trojan.
If your computer is infected then when you go to purchase the iPhone you will be redirected to a web page that is an exact duplication of the Apple iPhone home page but instead of buying the iPhone the criminals will use your credit card and bank information to possibly empty your accounts.
“This is one of the most sophisticated attacks we have seen targeting a user community, in this case iPhone users,” said Luis Corrons, technical director of PandaLabs, in a written statement. “It is a really complex, dangerous attack that combines elements of malware (the Trojan), phishing (the spoofed Web page), and even adware (pop-ups, modification of search results, etc.).”
The malicious software also brings up ads when you do a search for the iPhone all redirecting to the false webpage.

The iPhone can be described as beautiful, elegant, and classy with smooth sleek lines and the most enhanced visual screen ever created.
Thus when it comes to protecting the hottest item on the market, you certainly don’t want to spoil or mar the iPhone with a clunky case that covers it up. You want it to stay beautiful and unique and show off those long elegant lines.
That’s why ifrogz has the perfect iPhone case that offers protection like a case yet you don’t see it. Literally it’s invisible! Yet it will protect the screen and body from nicks and scratches as it’s made with the same clear protection that protects helicopter blades form getting harmed while they’re whipping through the air at hundreds of miles an hour getting hit with all sorts of small objects. Thus if the ifrogz invisible iphone case can protect those blades it simply has no problem protecting the iphone.

After months of negotiations that finally ended up (almost) with a court battle, Cisco and Apple have settled - out of court.
While no details of financial arrangements have been disclosed, a statement was released that said, “Both companies acknowledge the trademark ownership rights that have been granted, and each side will dismiss any pending actions regarding the trademark,” meaning that both companies are free to use the iPhone trademark on their individual products.
Currently Cisco has an iPhone which was released in December of 2006 that provides Voice over Internet Protocol, enabling users to make free or very low-cost calls over the Internet using software provided by companies such as Skype.
The Apple iPhone is a bit different combining a traditional cell phone with Blackberry like applications, camera, and MP3 player in one.
There is also talk of the companies “exploring opportunities for interoperability” which could lead to a combination of the phones.

Currently in Australia only one mobile network exists that uses the Apple iPhone’s 2.5G technology, or the EDGE (a rather outdated technology) and this carrier is Telstra.
Well, as of now, unless the iPhone is updated to 3G technology, it doesn’t look like it will ever become available in Australia as Telstra doesn’t seem very likely to be signing any agreement with Apple.
In fact Telstra operations chief Greg Winn said “There’s an old saying - stick to your knitting - and Apple is not a mobile phone manufacturer, that’s not their knitting.”
He also said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald that although the iPhone had a touch screen, he did not believe that made the device revolutionary, just simply the next step in the cellphone evolution.
Winn also said they made a number of oversights, including the name (already belonging to Cisco).

Is the Apple iPhone a good move for Apple? The first immediate thought at such a question is yes - of course. However, even as Apple has placed an order for 12 million iPhones, anaylsts are noting that an iPhone could cannibalize iPod sales.
The business of cell phones for Apple is like putting together apples and oranges. Apple’s hardware sells for a premium because of the Mac maker’s attention to detail. In contrast the business of cell phones is littered with free phones and rebates. Cell phone makers are able to offer flashy phones with lots of bells and whistles largely because the hardware is subsidized by carrier contracts. These phones would compete against an iPhone. Pacific Growth Equities analyst Derrick Wood, speaking of Apple, said “They can’t compete against the subsidized phones.â€
