iLounge has reported that this year’s new ipod nano is longer to be able to fit a bigger screen, like the iPhone and iPod Touch. In order for the screen to fit, the new nano had to be stretched out. I really like the new style of this ipod. I think it will be a great hit with all age groups!

These cool pair of shade-like goggles have permanent attached earbuds, with a remote control unit for power, brightness and volume, plus a dock connector cable, which can attach to your iPod. You can adjust your volume through your iPod or the remote control. This product will provide enough bass for optimal sound quality , while screening out most of the world around you, while you view your favorite video. You also receive a stellar fabric carrying case, three sets of silicone tips for the earbuds, and a USB cable for recharging.
Myvu also sells an edition of headset with video cables that are compatible with non-iPod devices. The Universal Myvu Connection Kit sells for about $25, which will adapt the iPod version with more devices. The shades 301, sells for about $200 and the Crystal 701 sells for about $300. Both models are designed to work with 3rd generation nano, classic and touch models.

Definitely one of the most interesting photos I’ve seen. New Age combined with Ancient Age combined with Hi-Tech and an AK 47 thrown in just for good measure.

The photo is from iLounge’s “iPods Around the World”. It depicts a Mursi Tribe Woman listening to the iPod with a large lip plate. (Lip plates are usually between 10 to 15 cm in diameter with some as large as 25 cm.)
The Mursi are a nomadic cattle herder ethnic group located close to the Sudanese border in Ethiopia. The woman are famous for wearing the clay plates in their lower lips. They are first “pierced” at the age of 15 or 16, about six months prior to marriage. Known as a form of body modification a smaller plated gradually is replaced with a larger and larger plate as the pierced hole is stretched.
