The cool iHome iPod speaker changes colors to match the nature of a song whether it is upbeat, or slow. It alternates between five colors slowly, rapidly or you can keep it on the color you prefer. You also have the choice of keeping the colors on even if the music is off. This unit has two speakers with a subwoofer. It does not however, come with a remote control. It is available now and retails at $60.

The iPod’s snowball effect appears to be a giant unstoppable force as it has rolled over, under and squashed the Zune during the Thanksgiving shopping weekend. Even an iPod accessory outsold the Zune. “The 30GB video iPods are selling well (and appear to be immune to the Zune),” wrote Deutsche Bank analyst Chris Whitmore in a research note.
Apple’s iPods claimed five of the top 10 spots on the list of most-purchased consumer electronic items sold through Amazon.com, and 10 of the top 25 spots. According to Amazon, Apple’s silver 2GB iPod Nano was the top selling electronic device, followed by the black 30GB video iPod and the Shuffle landed in third. By comparison the Zune landed at number 75 trailing even iPod’s USB power adapter which came in at number 65.

In the Sunday editioin of Deseret Morning News (Salt Lake City, Utah) ifrogz™ was featured on the front page with a picture of our tadpole case along with a short description of the product. It was part of a larger story about some of the best gadgets for gifts this holiday season. This is what they had to say about our ifrogz ipod case.

Tired of flying and having no choice but to watch a kids movie when your in the mood for action? Although you might want to
steer clear of movies such as Executive Decision, Die Hard 3 and any other highjacker thrillers while in the air, soon you will be able to watch what you want and have your iPod charged at the same time.
The six airlines—Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM, and United, plan to have integrated iPod seat connections by sometime in mid-2007. The seat connections will supply power to the iPod, allowing you to charge your iPod while being hooked up to the airplane’s seat-back displays. Users then may watch video from the iPod at eye level.
Apple is also working with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to bring these features to even more airlines in the future. Currently the service is only expected to be offered on business and first class seats and, only on international flights. However if you frequently fly from Los Angeles to New York don’t be too disappointed as this appears to be just a beginning. Soon, hopefully, iPods integration into most airplanes will simply be commonplace.
