It seems like it would be more appealing if it was simply a case for the often abducted iPod rather than an MP3 player most people don’t want. Nonetheless, it’s out there; a MP3 player designed for holsting a taser stun gun.
With the slogan “Fashion With A Bite” the stun gun and MP3 holster hit the market at the CES show in Las Vegas complete with a leopard print enhancing the “bite” in the “fashion”
“These new product are a result of listening to our customers. Personal protection can be both fashionable and functionable,” said Rick Smith, CEO and founder of Taser International. “The Taser C2 leopard print design provides a personal protection option for women who want fashion with a bite.”
You can also get the stun gun in pink and red-hot red if you don’t like the leopard print The built-in MP3 holster holds a 1GB memory card for storing music and retails for $72.99. The actual stun gun that fits so seductively into the MP3 holster, holds 50,000 volts of electricity and retails for $379.

Who would think of it - an MP3 player to fight pimples, it sounds rather amusing, like they are using the vibrations of the music to cure the acne?
However, after a little research on the use of negative ions to cure pimples…
In the 1950’s scientists began to discover how important ions were in body functions. Here in America the general public knows little about ions but in Europe they take it very seriously, so much so that ion generators are installed in many businesses, banks, hospitals, passenger cars and even in airliner cockpits. Ions are used to in treatments to help burn victims heal faster, cure repiratory diseases, rid the body of general infections - including pimples - and even to check the spread of cancers.

Apple may have introduced a whole new line of iPods with superb video and web integration but the one thing Apple left out has been picked up by RCA - integrated wireless headphones that come with the MP3 player. The RCA JetStream MP3 player will be the first player to market with the wireless Kleer headphone integration.
The new Jet Stream player is geared towards sports enthusiasts as over 51 percent of adult men who work out wear headphones while they do so. 40 percent of those give their number one complaint as tangled headphone wires.
The Jet Stream MP3 player ships with Kleer technology encoded wireless earbuds. Promoted as better than Bluetooth, Kleer claims longer battery life and CD-quality audio. Rather than using Bluetooths compression algorithm to deliver sound Kleer uses uncompressed 16-bit, 44.1kHz PCM audio at a bit rate of 1Mbps to 1.4Mbps.

Maybe they are just “repositories for stolen music” after all, as Doug Morris the Universal CEO, so eloquently stated last November when explaining why Microsoft was paying the music labels for every Zune sold. He also said that they should be getting paid for the stolen music. If that is the case they may have to charge a lot more than a $1 as a UK survey showed not such great news.
A survey conducted in the UK by Entertainment Media Research says that 43 percent of the people surveyed downloaded music illegally up from 36 percent one year ago.
Why? Well the reason given by 91 percent of the people was simple “Its free.”
The pirated music downloads have risen in all age groups in the UK in direct correspondence to the rise in the amount of little music players people own. 77 percent of people now own a MP3 music player of some kind up from 57 percent last year and 37 percent the year before.

These days wearing those little white earbuds can be a health hazard as more and more people are getting accosted while walking or jogging to some tunes. One also can get into a tangled mess trying to cross streets in traffic with bass pouding in your ears shutting out all other sounds. Thanko has solved both problems with their Vonia Sports Headband BCT - a fully integrated system for almost any MP3 player that makes the headphones utterly unnecessary.
The headwrap uses BCT (bone conduction technology). BTC conveys the vibration of the sound through your skull directly to your audiotry nerve, bypassing the tympanic membrane. Basically you can hear the music without your ears!
This leaves your ears free to hear all the other noises, such as the car coming at you. You could even still hear your boss at work although he might wonder at your choice of fashion accessories.

How totally cool! We all (well if you’re over 16) remember when transformers ruled! Robots that became tanker trucks, flying airplanes or boats were awesome!. Now Takara has created the iPod transformers!
The first is a tanker truck that becomes a Convoy iPod Docking Bay. The trailer opens to reveal two speakers and a dock for
all iPods except the shuffle. Route 66 has a whole new meaning with this bad boy.
The second is a Soundwave MP3 player disguised as a simple tiny cassette player that opens into a cool robot. The cassette player reads the Mini SD card from your MP3 player. When in cassette mode the MP3 player will easily slip into your pocket. It will blast your tunes in either robot or cassette mode, so now you can be a kid again at the office with your cool new toy busting out some rhymes while standing guard over your office desk. “Come on, make my day!”
