With the introduction of the Video iPod and video added to cellular phones and the like their has been a insurgance of new and innovative pods. Pods are described by Current TV as short non-fiction video that tells a story, profiles a character or place, and/or shares and idea. Pods are posted everywhere as podcasts for the iPod, on YouTube, and on Current TV. Pods are being sought after by companies everywhere and Current TV is one of the best places to “get noticed” and “get paid” for your video shorts.
Current TV, which launched in the U.S. August 1st, 2005 allows anyone to upload their video short. Video aired has to pass through Current’s Vanguard Journalism team and pass the code of ethics retaining clean and intelligent video.
