Touch Not Working Without Upgrade???

For those who are having recurring problems connecting to the iTunes store with a non-upgraded Touch the problem should be fixed soon.
What appears to be happening is that if you have chosen not to upgrade the Touch, and hit the “No Thanks” button when you connect you are taken to the store anyway and are only allowed to right click to sync it. All other features become disabled.
In order to work the Touch again you have to disconnect it from the internet.
Apple has responded on this to troubled users and says they are working on a resolution and will e-mail customers when a solution has been found.
Good luck everyone. Other solution, pay the $20 bucks.
