It’s Rainin’ iPod Speakers

The rain is pouring down in different colors these days, specifically liquid blue, orange and white, and it’s coming down blaring as Dreams Japan has just released their new Rain Drop speakers.

Compatible with the iPod and other MP3 players the speakers have an onboard stereo mini jack for connection. Playback is controlled by four external white buttons (from left to right - decrease volume, stop, playback, and increase volume).

They are powered by 4AA batteries and will play up to 10 hours. The speakers hold the iPod inside protecting it from water splashed for use playing by your pool, taking a back, or sitting on the seashore.

Shower Surround Sound!

How? Well, you pair the Wireless Water Resistant Speaker System with the Every Audio Shower Mirror and you have yourself one heck of a showering good time

Heck with a two speaker system no one will even mind your off key rendition of “Singing in the Rain” cause they’ll only be able to hear the good guy!

The speaker system works as the water resistant speakers receive a wireless signal from your nicely docked iPod (even when the speakers are getting dripped on by splashes from the shower). All iPods are compatible, and the speakers work within a 150 ft. range of the docking station.

Now, to incorporate the snazzy mirror - the Every Audio Shower Mirror was released last year and can play music from any MP3 player, CD player, stereo system or television within a 100 ft. range. Thus while your iPod is plugged nicely into the mirror transmitter and at the same time is tucked away safely charging in the iPod dock, you are free to rock out to the music being played on speakers blaring directly in your shower and all around your shower.

Bagz: Protection That’s Still a Show Off

bagz

Ifrogz has a new wonderful way to show off your iPod while still protecting it from harsh environmental conditions. With ifrogz new bagz, hazards such as rain, and accidental falls into mud puddles or piles of snow are no longer a factor. Jaimes Baine of Apple Matters wagers “if you tripped and fell into a pool while wearing your iPod in a bagz, you’d stand a very good chance, maybe in the high 90s, of having a working iPod afterwards, providing you’d meticulously done up all the seals beforehand.” Still it is not reccommended to fall into a pool, even if listening to Air Supply.
