June - the month everyone is waiting for, mainly for the iPhone, but also to see what Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will bring.
Steve Jobs will be opening the conference at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning on June 11th. He is well renowned for his keynote speeches and everyone is waiting with baited breath what this one will bring.
Jobs is expected to talk on the Mac Leopard due to come out in the fall. The Leopard initially was going to be released at the conference but Apple announced its delay due to moving key programmers over to work on the iPhone to guarantee its release. A complete version of Leopard is supposed to be shown with details of the program during the keynote.

The iPhone is coming out in late June as promised and the public is salivating over being the first to use the most hyped and most publicized device ever to come on the market. Thus the news that Leopard will be delayed due to having to pull key programmers over to the iPhone for the most part doesn’t have people upset but rather hoping this means the iPhone will have even more capabilities than previously noted.
In a statement Apple said this, “iPhone has already passed several of its required certification tests and is on schedule to ship in late June as planned. We can’t wait until customers get their hands (and fingers) on it and experience what a revolutionary and magical product it is. However, iPhone contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device, and finishing it on time has not come without a price — we had to borrow some key software engineering and QA resources from our Mac OS X team, and as a result we will not be able to release Leopard at our Worldwide Developers Conference in early June as planned.”
